Born on December 11, 1971, Nuu-chah-nulth artist Douglas David is the son of acclaimed artist Joe David.  Doug grew up with the influences of Nuu-chah-nulth and Lakota art, and works in these styles.  Creating masks, rattles, cedar bark, leather, antler and silver, he has traveled and worked in Seattle, California and Hawaii.  Doug currently resides on Vancouver Island.
